Construction
The hull of the Bristol 35.5 is constructed of solid laminate fiberglass and is built in two halves and joined on the centerline. The deck is fiberglass composite with balsa wood core and is securely fastened with nuts, bolts, and washers to the inward hull flange. This is a solidly built boat, with a substantial lay-up Full and partial bulkheads as well as other athwart ship and longitudinal members are bonded to the hull with fiberglass and resin. Layout and accomodations
Can accommodate six in comfort. Layout below consists of the main saloon, with opposing settee/berths port and starboard, galley aft to starboard, navigation table and quarter berth to port. Forward is a V-berth cabin with the head/shower aft to port. Cushions on all berths/settees. Teak fold down table. The galley is equipped with a Kenyon 2 burner stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and stainless steel sink. Hot and cold pressured water. The MSD Type III Raritan electric head has a 15 gallon bladder holding tank. 6 gallon hot water heater. Electric HVAC system in cabins.
The interior is finished in varnished and oiled teak, the sole is teak with ash inlay. Head room 6'2". The companionway leads up to the spacious cockpit.
