She was first owned by a fastidious Swiss dentist and his spouse who prepared her carefully and sailed her from Germany across the Atlantic, exploring the Caribbean, transiting Panama, exploring the South Pacific, taking the Pacific Gyre over Hawaii to Alaska and then the Inside Passage to Washington State.
