Description
Available In Store: Fort Lauderdale
The 2023 XShore Eelex 8000 represents the beginning of a more sustainable maritime tradition, from its 100% electric motor to the minimal impact materials used in its construction. Electric power eliminates harmful fumes and unpleasant noises while having a smaller carbon footprint than fossil fuel engines, which helps fight climate change. The deck is covered with cork, which is excellent in both function and sustainability, while the hull is constructed from flax cloth and recycled PET. The boat's software may be used to manage a built-in Sea Lab, which collects environmental information from the water you're in, including the PH and oxygen levels, for proactive excursions.
Eelex 8000 is designed to perform well. It will cruise at 20 knots and achieve a top speed of 35 knots with a 225 kW motor and 120 kWh battery capacity.
We’re proud to say that our craft can weather the storms. Each boat is developed and built in Sweden, where we have repeatedly tested them in choppy Swedish waters. No matter where you are at sea, you can deal with strong winds, torrential rain, waves, and swells.
The sleek, simple design of Eelex 8000 is distinctly Scandinavian, and it was inspired by the power and grace of the electric eel. Each vessel is sleek and durable, elegantly combining hardware and software for seamless operation at sea. You'll find a flexible interior, strong and environmentally friendly materials, top-notch technology, and an earthy hull designed for quick transit. With this boat, you can truly be at one with nature thanks to the electric motor's quiet power.

Our company was founded by Jack Hargrave in 1957 in Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to being a Hall of Fame yacht designer best known for his work with builders like Amels, Burger, and Hatteras yachts, Jack Hargrave was also a highly successful yacht broker, as was his father before him. If you are not familiar with our company, Hargrave Yachts is one of the oldest and most respected yacht brokerage firms in the State of Florida. In addition to being a full-service yacht brokerage organization we maintain an in-house service department that our customers rate as 5-Star. When most yacht manufacturers put in their own in-house design and engineering departments we made the decision to begin building yachts in the 65â-200â size range under the Hargrave brand name in 1997. As we tell all our brokerage clients, "If we can't find the perfect boat for you we'll build it!"
