Accommodations

This yacht accommodates nine guests in four staterooms, each with an en suite head. A port side study/ library offers yet another space for you and your guests to find privacy and relaxation and has been remodeled with a twin berth and Pullman for additional guests. Two crew quarters accommodate five crewmembers including a captain’s suite and an additional private stateroom featuring over/ under bunks. An extra mate will be comfortable aft, in the lazarette where a twin bed and private head are located.

Vessel Walkthrough

**************NEW Carpet Through-out Vessel****************************

This vessel’s identity begins from the aft deck where a comfortable arrangement is ideal for casual dining. A substantial bench and dining table are suitable for 8 guests. From here you can access the flybridge, cockpit, lazarette and engine room, as well as the main salon and living space. The main salon is entered through large sliding glass doors. Inside you will find a spacious and casually elegant salon, with a sofa and several oversized chairs, as well as as impressive entertainment system, and forward dining area. The dining space is comprised of a rectangular table designed to seat a large group for formal meals. The color scheme is one of neutrals with bursts of color and interest throughout. Forward is the galley situated just beyond the raised pilothouse stairway and the convenient day head. The galley is done in the signature of Hargrave “Country Kitchen” with a large breakfast nook facing aft and add the finishing touches to this warm environment. The crew quarters are just forward of the galley down a private staircase. Here a captain and two crewmembers will be comfortable with two private staterooms, each with an en suite head as well as a lounge area. The master and guest suites are found down a separate private staircase just forward of the dining area. Here an exceptional master suite is desigend with a large en suite bath, walk in closet, settee and a huge central king berth. Your guests will enjoy a VIP stateroom, and twin stateroom, each with an en suite head. Aside from all the great indoor space, this yachts extends to the outside with a flybridge. Here, large settees and a bar area simplify entertainment. The captain navigates easily from this vantage point and can be joined by 2 other guests with a trio of helm chairs. The captain can also take advantage of the raised pilothouse for navigating the vessel.

Aft deck

The morning sunrise fills this space with its warm rays and beckons you to relax, and with a large cushioned bench and teak table that is just what you’ll do. The aft deck dining table, custom built in bench and teak accent chairs can comfortably seat 8 guests. To port is a hidden U-Line white refrigerator and a Scotsman DC22PA-1WB white icemaker. This space is casual enough for morning coffee and yet makes the perfect spot for entertaining guests with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. During inclement weather the aft deck can be fully enclosed with its EZ2CY enclosure. Port and starboard steps wind down to the cockpit and entrance to the lazarette and engine room. You can also access the flybridge and main salon from the spacious aft deck. Large electronic sliding glass doors glide open automatically as you approach them to reveal the gorgeous interior beginning with the main salon.

Salon

Entering the salon through the automatic sliding door you will immediately be drawn to the warm color scheme that seems to capture all the light from the thoughtfully placed overhead lamps. Soft textures blend with interesting angles and vivid cherry wood. Seating is found in a large sofa that is set beneath picture windows with custom roman shades. The sofa and two armchairs are done in a soft leather with accent pillows in colors of gold, green tan and chocolate, which is carried onto the remaining armchairs and ottomans. Cherry wood tables and built in cabinets provide plenty of storage and display spaces. A woven taupe carpet sets the stage for these simple accoutrements. Here you will be entertained with a 42″ Fujitsu flat screen TV and full entertainment system. The forward dining space acts as an extension of ths lovely and inviting space.

Dining

Much like a luxury home, this yacht also offers enough space and flexibility in the layout for a formal dining table in an informal setting. The rectangular table seats eight comfortably for elegant family meals and entertaining guests. Eight parson’s chairs fitted with a creamy fabric with gold scroll details surround the lacquered cherry wood finished table. Forward a mirrored and granite clad buffet is ideal for displaying food or for white glove service. This buffet also conceals storage and a U-Line Wine Cooler, adding to the entertainment elements.

Pilot House

This raised pilothouse model gives the captain two spaces from which to navigate this substantial yacht. The pilothouse has teak and holly floors and cherry wood giving a very masculine feel to this area. The electronics console features the finest in name brand equipment placed just below the large windshield. Any professional captain would feel very comfortable in this pilothouse.

Galley

The exceptional galley truly brings family together. Although separate from the main living space, continuity is achieved with the use of high gloss cherry wood and a similar color scheme. The entrance into the galley takes you past a staricase up to the raised pilothouse, as well as a conveniently located day head. Done in the notable Hargrave “country kitchen” style, this galley features a forward u-shaped dinette with a sandy colored faux leather that is very durable for this environment. The high table offers a unique space for breakfast and casual snacks. Warm granite in shades of gray, salmon and tan make up the ample counter space. A central island is the perfect place for food prep, while surrounding counters are ideal for display. Professional style stainless steel appliances include a GE refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door, a GE Wine cooler, a GE Monogram trash compactor, and a GE Continuous Feed black disposal. This space is well lit and very inviting, and also features key entertainment options like a 42″ Sony flat screen TV.

Flybridge

Outdoor living space is equally important as the interior when cruising through scenic waters. This yacht gives you the ultimate setting for taking advantage of the outdoors. The fly bridge is yet another navigation space easily accessed from the pilothouse through a sliding hatch, but is so much more with seating and entertainment areas. Wrap-around cushioned seating is found both to starboard and port, with built in tables. A bar with a granite top is starboard with a trio of barstools for additional seating. This bar features a sink and an icemaker, as well as storage. A new barbeque, granite bar top and commercial HOSHIZAKI icemaker were recently installed.

Master Stateroom

Below deck, the master stateroom exemplifies luxury. The king berth takes central stage with a substantial mirrored backdrop defined by excellent cherry wood joinery. The bed is fitted with a diamond motif bedspread in colors of gold and bone, accentuated by several colorful throw pillows. Ample storage is found in starboard cabinets doubling as display counters, as well as in the walk in closet. You will feel right at home with a Sony 27″ TV with a VCR and full entertainment system. This room relies on the subtle details like the Maitore wave accents on the cabinet faces, the built in bookshelf and the understated light sconces. The en suite head is basked in marble both on the counters and floors. A full shower has notable upgrades such as marble walls and is situated next to a full Jacuzzi tub. His and her sinks feature upgraded Grohe faucets and blend nicely with the light marble. This master stateroom offers understated sumptuousness that can easily be adjusted to fit your personal taste.

VIP Stateroom

The VIP stateroom is extremely warm and welcoming. The queen berth is centrally located and set beneath a large panel of high gloss cherry wood. This design detail adds to the warm glow of this room. Your VIP guests will appreciate the extra storage found in several drawers and a large hanging closet. After a long day of traveling and adventures, your guest will enjoy relaxing and watching TV from their 20″ Sony Tv, or listening to music with their own CD and stereo system. An en suite head has a full shower and plenty of counter space. Other thoughtful details include Soundown insulation in the galley floor, which is located just above the VIP.

Starboard Guest Stateroom

The starbooard guest stateroom is comprised of twin beds, and a Pullman berth to accommodate several. Navy blue and shades of tan make up the color scheme for this quaint space offering a masculine feel, which is balanced by the bedding’s floral details. A small nightstand can be removed to form a double berth. Other features include a hanging closet, en suite head and a full entertainment system. Whether traveling with young children or an additional couple, this stateroom is designed to accommodate several arrangements and is a great additon to the this well equipped yacht.

Library

Rather than have an additional stateroom, the original owner chose to have a study/ library. Recently remodeled, this space now has a twin bed and a Pullman berth to accommodate additional guests. This space is lined with bookshelves and a desktop situated beneath the porthole. If you are traveling for an extended time, the library is an ideal space to conduct business.

Crew Quarters

The crew quarters are so well designed they would also be suitable for additional guests. Private and roomy, your crew will find themselves getting much needed rest and relaxation in this space. A lounge area has a leather settee and entertainment features. The captain has a private suite with a double berth and en suite head. An additional mate or crewmember would also be comfortable aft in the lazarette, which features a twin bed and private head.

Brief Overview

MaryClare is a Capri Sky Lounge Hargrave model with a curvaceous European profile and a four stateroom plus crew layout. The high volume interior is a signature design feature of this Hargrave. Entering MaryClare from the aft deck you will be struck by how tranquil and calm the interior feels, while a further investigation helps you begin to appreciate how comfortable she is too. Her hand rubbed Cherry wood paneling with a satin finish helps to accentuate the quality of this Hargrave and her luxury interior is accentuated by lace wood inlays and high gloss counter tops with attractive bull nosing throughout. The spacious galley is forward of the main salon and makes good use of natural stone and high end European fixtures. The A rated crew quarters are forward of the galley in a two stateroom two head layout. Forward in the main salon you will find a spiral staircase that provides access up to the sky lounge as well as down to the owner and guest staterooms, which are completely separate from the crew area.

Layout

Accommodations

MaryClare is designed to sleep up to 8 guests in four large staterooms, with crew quarters for three or four if there is a husband and wife team. A husband and wife team can be accommodated in the captain’s quarters with a double bed. The crew area is forward and separate from the owner/guest sleeping areas. Each guest stateroom has an en suite head and fine interior appointments.

Aft deck

MaryClare’s aft deck is simple and spacious; at the center, a large high-gloss table with enough seating for eight. Accompanying the table is a built-in bench seat and 4 teak chairs. The bench and each of these chairs is fitted with a tan and white vertical striped cushion for added comfort and style. The aft deck is fairly simple otherwise and includes subdued features such as teak flooring and a portside fiberglass compartment that houses an ice maker an storage areas.

Salon

Entering the salon, you immediately feel the tranquility of the space. The wood is a nut color Cherry with a satin finish, accentuated by lace wood cabinet tops and cross-grained cabinet faces that create a repetitious interest to the veneer. In the main salon, as well as throughout the rest of the yacht, all of the visible hardware is a brushed satin nickel. To port are custom-made Hamilton House Lane Home Excursions sofas, which are extremely comfortable and elegant with a clean cream colored fabric. This space was designed with very neutral colors. The only pattern on the main deck is a tropical inspired foliage fabric in colors of sage, curry and celery that covers the aft lounge chair, ottoman and several carefully placed accent pillows. This design scheme creates clean lines against the gorgeous wood, as well as a calming ambiance. To starboard is a neat row of cabinets offering storage space and a plethora of display counters. Forward, separating the living area from the dining area is a Cherry cabinet concealing a Sony Plasma 32″ EDTV, which operates on an automatic high/low lift. This space also features recessed lights, a plush cream carpet and lovely architectural details and cabinetry.

Dining

The dining area consists of an oval-shaped wood table surrounded by 8 comfortable dining chairs comprised of bamboo style wood with cream cushions and an elegant button detail cascading down the back of each lovely chair. This space also features Cherry wood, as well as white cabinet faces and a wood buffet. Another notable feature is the 6-shelf glass china cabinet that is found to starboard and built into the flow of the spiral staircase that leads up to the sky lounge and down to the owner and guest suites. Colorful, hand-selected artwork and house wares complete the look of this otherwise neutral space.

Galley

The Ubatuba green/grey granite counters and backsplash, as well as the stainless steel appliances, stand out from the solid white lacquer cabinets and ceiling. The stainless steel appliance package includes a Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, GE cook top, GE Oven, Sub-Zero wine cooler, GE Microwave, dishwasher and a double-sided Franke sink. Other appliances include a GE black disposal. Refreshingly spacious and inviting, this galley feels like it belongs in an estate home. Warm teak and holly flooring adds dimension, along with custom woven rattan shades by Hartman & Forbes from Design West. Forward, and set beneath a row of windows, is an elevated dinette. This dining area is comprised of a tan-colored leather and palm tree motif fabric settee, with an adjustable granite topped dining table.. The subtle island inspired design features play off the deep green granite. To starboard and set into the cabinetry for a streamlined look, is a Sharp 20″ LCD TV in silver to match the appliances. This entertainment feature can be enjoyed over a leisurely breakfast, snack, or maybe to catch your favorite food network show for cooking inspiration! Forward and down a small flight of stairs are the crew’s quarters.

Sky Lounge

Situated just above the galley, and accessed via a spiral staircase in the main salon is the sky lounge. This space has a much bolder color scheme, featuring a chocolate colored settee by Moore & Giles leather, accentuated by chenille throw pillows with a contemporary cheetah pattern. The darker earth tone palette works well in this space as there is a plethora of windows and of course, the large forward windshield. Roman style shades dress the windows and create a light controlled environment. A small table, along with a starboard pop-up 42″ Sony Plasma TV completes the sitting area. Forward and to port is a substantial built-in desk for your home-office needs. Also forward, you will find the large helm. Centered in front of the impressive electronics console is a pair of Stidd pilot’s chairs in a maroon color. To the aft of the sky lounge is a large open deck with lounge seating, a hot tub, and tender and waverunner storage.

Foyer

The lower hall is spacious and has a curved console with mirror. The companionway is the entrance for all (4) guest staterooms; (1) Master Stateroom, (2) Twin Guests and a second king size bed in the VIP. The walls in the guest area are padded faux leather upholstery with Cherry stripping in between the panels. All of the light fixtures and plumbing have a brush nickel finish. The cabinetry is also in a satin Cherry with satin Cherry cabinet tops.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom on the lower deck is especially soothing and calm in shades of cream, ivory and gold. Natural finishes such as the Cherry wood abound, and the room is simple and luxurious. The king size bed is found at the center of this room, with an overhead mirror, cherry wood strips and attractive shaded lamps. Features include cedar-lined his and her closets, an in-room hidden safe, Shoji screens over the porthole windows, a small vanity with chair, a 42″ Sony Plasma TV, and an en suite his and her head. The head consists of Perlatolo Suevo marble, a Jacuzzi tub, walkthrough shower, Grohe fixtures and eye-catching granite counters. The master stateroom is a place to unwind and refresh for the adventures of the day ahead.

VIP Stateroom

The VIP suite is truly made for your most valued guests as it has wonderful upgrades and a unique style. A king size bed fitted with a smart gold bedspread accentuated by marine blue pillows, acts as the center piece of this stateroom. A king bed is an unusual feature for a VIP, but even more unusual is the fact that the room is still very spacious and offers substantial storage space with drawers, a built-in curved console cabinet above which is a 20″ Sharp LCD TV, and a full-length cedar-lined hanging closet. You will also find an en suite head with a full shower and high level finishes. Your guests will fall in love with these private and luxurious accommodations.

Guest Stateroom (PORT)

The first of two twin bed guest staterooms is found to port. This suite features twin beds fitted with attractive rust-colored bedspreads with shell motifs. The Cherry wood and cream-colored padded panels work well with the color choice of the fabric. A nightstand with a mirror and lamp just above it, divides the space between the two beds. Other features include Shoji screens with cherry wood strips, a 15″ Sharp LCD TV, a large hanging closet and an en suite head with a full shower and granite surfaces.

Guest Stateroom (STBD)

The second of two twin bed guest staterooms is found to starboard. This suite is basically identical to the port stateroom and features twin beds fitted with leaf motif bedspreads with calming colors of green and cream. Again, Cherry wood and cream-colored padded panels accentuate the fabric choices. The mirror and lamp help illuminate the space and make it appear larger. Much like its sister stateroom, this suite also features a nightstand with storage drawers, Shoji screens with cherry wood strips, a 15″‘ Sharp LCD TV, a large hanging closet and an en suite head with a full shower and granite surfaces. Your overnight guests will be right at home in either of these two finely appointed staterooms.

Crew Quarters

The crew quarters are forward and down a flight of stairs from the galley. Your tour of the area begins in the crew lounge where a substantial banquette and table are positioned in front of storage cabinets and entertainment features such as a 15″ Sharp TV. Next, is the private captain’s stateroom, which appears to be another VIP stateroom with a queen bed and elegant refinements that would be appropriate for a captain or a husband/wife team. This space features plenty of storage, a hanging closet and a private en suite head. Crewmembers have a second stateroom with over/under bunks a hanging closet and their own private head as well. Hargrave yachts are built to accommodate a large and more importantly, happy crew and MaryClare can accommodate 3 or even 4 crewmembers with a husband/wife team.

Accommodations
This yacht was just unloaded in mid-January and a complete listing will be posted after the boat show in Miami Show which takes place Feb 11-15, 2010 along with photos and video. The yacht easily accommodates 8 overnight guests is 4 large staterooms and creates opportunities to travel, entertain and enjoy life’s adventures surrounded by your loved ones. The layout features an on deck master suite, a second full beam master suite below and two guest suites. Outstanding crew quarters are below and forward with three cabins, three heads, walls of storage closets, seperate washer dryer units and full crew lounge with refrigerator. Commercial quality galley with double work stations and double equipment as well.

Aft deck

The aft deck easily can handle a big crowd. The fabrics are in shades of biscuit, beige with a black welt on the edge. The beautiful teak dining table has curved sides and straight ends, a very modern twist for the aft deck.

Salon

The Main Salon wood is Gloss Cherry and Camphor burl. The salon layout is designed with contemporary angled cabinetry that provides an abundance of counter space and storage. The 45 degree angles are mimicked in the Main Salon and Dining ceiling soffits. Inside the soffits is a band of beveled mirror that gives the illusion of much higher ceiling; not that this Hargrave needs it as the ceiling height is over 7’. The Salon color palette is Oyster, Ebony and Platinum with Gloss Cherry wood. The furniture is plush with straight lines and there’s enough room in any chair to pull your legs up and curl up. The overall mood is clean, modern and very comfortable.

3” Gloss Cherry Crown Molding throughout the main salon with the A/C system streamlined thought out hidden using the crown molding.

Top Brass/Jasmine Chrome Sconces. Chrome Cantaluppi. SonnemanPendantIsland Dining Chandelier.

The door hardware is crome with the window treatments Roman shades – R.M. Coco Longitude Linen fabric.

The port aft corner house a Panasonic 46″ Hi Def TV and complete AV system from Blue Ray DVD and sony suround sound system.

The starboard aft corner has a walk up bar with Pearlota Suvevo top and Graff facet and matching bowl. The stoarge above houses the custom rack storage for the Makasa glassses. Storage below for the assorted liquours and wine.

Galley

Forward of the MS is the working style/commercial galley. This area was designed so that each member the crew working in the galley has their own area specifically designed for the task they are doing. There is a cooking and prep area for the chef with enough counter top to plate 12 dinners, a prep area for the souse chef, a coffee/cappuccino and dessert area, and a clean up and dishwasher area. (4) completely separate areas that all work together in perfect harmony for the preparation and sequence of a meal. There is a chef sink in his prep area accessible from the cooking area or prep area. There is second sink next to the dishwasher and across from the coffee/dessert prep area.

The full height back splash in the galley area is Polished Stainless Steel which looks like mirror and really opens the space. The countertops are Black Galaxy Granite, with flecks of silver, gold and black. The cabinets are the same finish and quality as the salon, Gloss Cherry, and all the appliances are also stainless steel. There are (3) separate pantries in this area also, so there is plenty of room for food and dry goods storage.

1st Master Stateroom, On Deck

The “On Deck Master” is forward of the galley and has a private entrance forward of the Day Head. The King bed is positioned in the center of the full beam, and has a large secret storage area that is accessed by opening the hidden hinged mirrored framed panels. The stateroom has a large 42” screen TV centered aft on the aft wall. There is a large walk-in closet with (3) 6’ hanging rods. The fabrics and textures are modern and whimsical in tones of oyster, beige and a light touch of black.

The ensuite bath has its entrance on the starboard side of the vessel, opposite the entrance so there is more privacy in the bath area. The marble is a beautiful rich and creamy little fossils visible in the Pearlato Suevo and Emperadora Light, which is a mocha tone. The bath is large with double classic rectangular basins with lots of counter space in between. There is a shower with (3) sides of glass that is bright and elegant in the corner. The bath is spacious and also boasts a vanity area with several drawers and lots of light.

Lower Foyer and Laundry Room

At the bottom of the stairs is an elegant Cherry, Camphor burl and Absolute Black Granite foyer console and mirror. This cabinet is split in the middle and doubles as the doors that disguise the Laundry Station. It is a “laundry room” with floor space in front of the extra large washer and (2) large dryers to stand, sort laundry, put a laundry basket on the floor, and if need to leave this area in the middle of a job, just close the doors and all is unseen. There is also an area to fold clothes in the laundry station. In addition, the area has a special booster AC unit that keeps the laundry room from heating up the guest area.

2nd Master Stateroom

The second Master is the third stateroom on the lower deck. It is a full beam stateroom with a large seven foot (7′) dresser on the starboard side and a large settee on the port side. The space is open and elegant. The King headboard wall is covered in paneling of Caprice mother of pearl shells. On top of the honey colored pearl shell wall is a sequence of photographs of the sea; which continues the enjoyment of the sea theme as seen through out the boat. The colors in this stateroom are deep beige, perl and swirls of black. There is just enough wall upholstery to keep the room dramatic and show off the magnificent Cherry millwork. There are (2) full heads that share a shower midship. This master bath shows off the intricate borders and inlays of the Emperadora Dark Marble and Pearloto Marble stone. The semi recessed round sinks with architect designed faucets, mirror each other from Port to Starboard.

Guest Stateroom 2 and 3

Down the hall are two (2) nearly identical convertible staterooms. Each stateroom can accommodate three guests with either twins and pullman berth or queen bed formed by sliding the twins together. The bedspreads are oyster linen, accented with amethyst basket weave textured pillows edgee of small plum beaded trim that gives the appearance of little pieces of coral pulled from the ocean. Both convertible staterooms have private baths/ensuite heads with gorgeous Ivory Marble floors and Emperador Light Marble vanities with contemporary semi recessed vessel sinks.

Fly Bridge

The Flybridge has everything! Both the huge horseshoe seating area on the port side and the bar with its teak edged Emperadora Light marble top and seating for four (4) on the starboard side give plenty of open space to gather during the day or the evening to enjoy your time on the water. There is a sunpad for sunbathing next to the Spa Tub. The convertible ceiling/top that, electronically opened on sunny days and starry nights, only enhances the spaciousness of this outdoor living area. The upholstery in warm beige with chocolate and dusty linen oversized pillows adds to the welcome inviting feel of the Flybridge. There are two (2) exquisite Teak cocktail tables with Sun Dial inlays and cross grained patterns in front of the horseshoe seating area. There is a ton (11′) of storage on the starboard side of the F/B and a large gas grill to Port aft of the Sunpad.

Crew Quarters

Crew accommodations were uniquely designed and considered on SASSY. The crew quarters allow for up to (6) crewmembers, if needed. Forward from the galley and down a short flight of stairs is an outstanding Crew Lounge that rivals the galleys on small boats. There are (3) double staterooms with their own heads and showers. The Captain’s Stateroom has a queen size bed with a large hanging locker, dresser and small desk. There is a large settee with TV and refrigerator for relaxing when the crew is off. There are (5) large floor to ceiling cabinets for storage and another laundry station that has large, stacked washer/dryer for crew. It is hands down the most comfortable Crew Area in the industry. The Crew Area is finished in the same quality as the rest of the boat and all heads have marble vanities and shower seats.

Vessel Walkthrough

Expertly proportioned and structured lines create a perfect profile for this outstanding raised pilothouse model featuring the best of both worlds with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Stepping aboard this vessel you are treated to a diverse outdoor space that offers both seating and dining capabilities as well as access to all the key locations on the yacht. Large pneumatic doors with sensors glide open to reveal the glowing salon. The comfortable, no nonsense appeal of this yacht’s interior is achieved with a blending of classical and contemporary styles. Forward, the formal dining room becomes an extension of the salon with a round table and dining chairs, as well as a granite clad buffet. Forward and to starboard, a day head and access to the raised pilothouse precede your entrance into the galley. The galley is large and nicely equipped with professional style appliances, and features a Hargrave signature, the country kitchen arrangement with a large settee facing aft. Down a starboard staircase from the galley, you will find the captain’s quarters.

A private entrance from the salon to the staterooms below is found portside. This area features 4 full staterooms including a master stateroom, VIP stateroom and identical port and starboard twin staterooms. Every creature comfort is met in these luxurious accommodations, such as full entertainment systems, large hanging closets, and en suite heads. The master stateroom is equipped with his and her heads and a gorgeous walk through shower accentuated with plenty of marble and granite.

Aft deck

Solid teak soles set the stage for a comfortable bench seating for up to 6, complimented by 4 teak armchairs. The bench is designed with a marine theme featuring nautical flags and blue rope details. The central teak table has a high gloss finish and a centrally located compass rose motif. To port, the aft deck features a substantial teak cabinet encasing a Sharp 20″ LCD TV, and featuring three shelves, a U-Line 2075R stainless steel refrigerator, and an Absolute Black granite countertop. This space gives you passage to the flying bridge, main salon, swim platform, crew quarters and engine room.

Salon

The main salon exudes comfort with the use of soft and inviting fabrics and vivid colors. Special touches abound, including the custom 310 Wilton Stanton-Starwind carpet with butter yellow stars and a marine blue background. The sofa and chairs are upholstered in soft butter yellow leather with a marine blue welt, purchased from the high-end upholstery company, Roche Bobois of France. Also purchased from the same company are the dining chairs done in pale blue suede and offering a contemporary feel due to the unusual shape. These eye-catching chairs are also found to starboard where a camphor burl wood table is used for playing cards or board games. All of the tables are constructed from gloss camphor burl with cross grain accents, while the cabinetry and finish is comprised of high gloss cherry, with Absolute Black granite. To starboard, a 42″ Sony Plasma television mounted on a high/low lift to be concealed when necessary. A forward buffet is perfect for entertainment and storage, and features a U-Line Origins 15WC stainless steel wine cooler. The owners have added their own custom touches including artwork, photographs and custom Lucite lamps with white shades. This space is inviting for guests and family, yet it offers a distinct setting for more formal occasions.

Galley

Laid with lovely teak and holly, the path to the galley winds its way past an elegant day head accentuated by Absolute Black granite flooring and counters, gloss cherry cabinetry, and gold and Swarowski crystal sconces, bath faucets and accessories. Moving forward along this path you pass a small staircase leading up to the raised pilothouse, and after passing this you end in the galley. This space exudes warmth and stimulates your senses with vivid colors, cool sleek textures and exotic scents from dishes being prepared by the chef. The gloss cherry cabinetry nicely compliments the Black & Brick granite. Entirely stainless steel appliances help the owners keep a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. These appliances include a GE Profile refrigerator, GE Profile black cook top, GE oven, GE Profile microwave, GE Profile dishwasher, GE Profile trash compactor, GE Profile garbage disposal, and a Franke sink.

Pilothouse

The raised pilothouse is built to address the needs of both the captain and guests. A large instrument panel is comprised entirely of gloss cherry with the best equipment available, and is preceded by a large captain’s chair in faux black leather. Aft of here, with a view through the forward and side windows is a large viewing settee with a high/low table, ideal for casual dining or laying out charts and maps. To starboard, a bar stool swivels in and out of a hollowed space below a large work surface, designed to accommodate a captain and crewmembers. With several storage spaces, comfortable seating, eye-catching brass light fixtures, and teak and holly floors the raised pilothouse continues this boat’s theme of sophistication.

Fly Bridge

Up a starboard staircase from the aft deck you find the flying bridge. Here, a custom fiberglass hardtop shades the length of the space, with a break aft where a 16′ Nautica Tender w/Yamaha outboard 115hp, Quicklift 2000lb davit and jet ski are stored. Forward, a cool color scheme reflects the hues of the islands. L-shaped seating both to port and starboard is detailed with yellow, navy blue, and sea green vertical striped cushions. Each bench also features a teak grated table for afternoon dining and evening cocktails. Forward and to starboard a large bar features 4 stainless steel bar stools with durable blue vinyl cushioned tops. Rounded counters are made of lovely Blue Pearl granite, accentuating the cool color scheme. Here, you will also find a sink, storage cabinets, a U-Line stainless steel refrigerator and a separate U-Line icemaker. With entertainment in mind, the owners also utilized this space for a large refrigerator and a freezer aft, built into custom fiberglass cabinets. Forward, the helm station is complete with three pilot seats and a large electronics console featuring the best brand name equipment available. Non-skid fiberglass floors, stainless steel accents, and a thoughtfully planned layout make this space the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Master Stateroom

Below deck, the accommodations begin from the master stateroom where warm woods, eye-catching colors and stimulating textures are found. The centrally located king berth is detailed with a padded headboard upholstered in an elegant cream fabric with blue, red and beige color accents and shell and coral rock cluster motifs. This lovely fabric is also used as an oversized bedspread that beckons you to relax. Cherry wood walls transition into accents of cream-colored faux ostrich panels. Other unique features include a starboard settee done in a coral red color, and flanked by two chests of drawers doubling as storage and display spaces. Other storage is found in walk-in closets and clever drawers that maximize every inch of space, such as those found concealed in the base of the bed. Entertainment options such as a 32″ Sony plasma TV add to the allure of this space. The en suite his and her head is aft, and features a large centrally located walkthrough shower with gorgeous marble details, separate vanities and eye-catching fixtures.

VIP Stateroom

All the way forward down the main companionway is the VIP stateroom. The queen berth is situated to starboard leaving room for an en suite head, storage space and a hanging closet. The berth is detailed with a seashell inspired bedspread in neutral tones of taupe, beige and brown. The use of cherry wood in this stateroom is complimented by a cross-grain finish on all the doors, including the door leading into the en suite head. Guests in this space will appreciate the storage accommodations and excellent entertainment options such as a 20″ LCD TV. The port side head is stylish with the continuous use of wood, as well as the addition of a creamy colored marble. A full shower, beautiful fixtures and the overall sense of privacy make this en suite head ideal for special guests.

Starboard Guest Stateroom

To starboard you will find an additional stateroom with twin berths to accommodate two more guests. The most notable aspect of this stateroom is the large checkerboard carpeting in shades of red and beige. This eye-catching floor is complimented by twin beds fitted with colorful bedding that helps add to the cheerful environment. An en suite head with a full shower rounds out the accommodations, along with a full entertainment system, overhead lighting, adjustable reading lamps, and portholes for natural light. Also, along the starboard side in the foyer just outside this stateroom is a well-concealed stackable washer and dryer unit.

Port Guest Stateroom

The port side guest stateroom is almost entirely identical to the starboard stateroom. The same colors and amenities are found in this stateroom, which is just as charming. Additional guests will be extremely comfortable in this well-equipped stateroom also featuring an en suite head. Just outside this stateroom to port is a closet for linen storage.

Captains Cabin

The captain’s quarters are found down a forward staircase from the large galley. This stateroom is neutral in its color scheme and abundant in storage. The centrally located double berth is fitted with an attractive tropical themed bedding with blue palm trees and features mirrored panels behind it that helps enlarge the look of the space. Additional eye-catching details include textured carpeting and an en suite head with a full shower. The head also features gray speckled granite along the counters and floors, and attractive fixtures such as a porcelain shell-like sink. This stateroom is ideal for a full-time captain or additional guests for extended travel.

Salon
From the moment you step into SASSY’S salon you will be amazed by the feeling of space this 101 foot yacht gives you. The color palette is a soothing blend of ivory, oyster, amethyst and platinum and creates a pleasant journey for your eyes. The overall floor plan is open, airy and offers excellent flexibility to suit your lifestyle. The Glass Bar Top is suspended above the working bar top with polished round Stainless Steel supports, and cantilevers over a beautiful back bar of “Golden Dragon” marble, which is a dark grey stone with ivory veining and small flecks of amethyst. The detail of floating glass above the cabinetry is repeated again in the Dining Area on the Port and Starboard side cabinetry. The wood is a deep, rich Cherry in High Gloss, accented with Maitore, a darker more chocolate tone wood. Forward in this flowing space you will find the Dining Area.

Dining
Whether enjoying a family meal or celebrating an important event, this versatile Dining Room and Salon space is ideal for creating memories. The unique dining table has straight sides and large curved ends to mimic the soffit above the table. The ceiling fixture above the table, with its triple layered linen shade, diffuses the light and gives the area a sexy glow in the evening.

Galley
Forward from the Dining Area, is the working style/commerical Galley. This galley is designed so each crewmember working here has their own space specifically for the task they are doing. The cooking and prep area provides the chef with enough counter space to not only work, but to plate 12 dinners. There is a separate prep area for a souse chef; a coffee/cappuccino and dessert area, and a clean up and dishwasher area. Four (4) completely separate areas that all work together smoothly in the preparation and sequence of a meal. The full height back splash in the galley is a mirror finished Polished Stainless Steel that opens the work space up. The countertops are off white Kodia Granite. The cabinets are Gloss Cherry, with the same finish and quality as the Salon. All appliances are Stainless Steel. Three (3) separate pantries in this area, provide plenty of space for food and dry goods storage.

On Deck Master Stateroom
The “On Deck Master,” forward of the galley and day head, has it’s own private entrance. The master bed positioned in the center of the full beam, has a large secret storage area behind it that is easily accessed by opening the hidden hinged upholstered wall of fabric. The upholstered wall fabric, called “Underglass,” is slick faux leather with a hand polished look to it. The large 42″ TV sits between the his and hers large closets with double doors. The fabrics and textures are modern and plush with tones of oyster, beiges and pale lavender. These colors are seen again in the large Silk stripe on the roman window shades. The upholstered bed frame adds to the suite’s tranquility and softness. The ensuite bath is light and airy with lots of Pearloto marble gently accented with Emperadora Light Marble. The two vessel sinks sit on a large generous size marble vanity top. The huge shower has a fabulous view. A separate makeup vanity area is located far away from the steamy shower and the toilet is tucked in its own private nook.

Master #2 Stateroom
The second Master is the third stateroom on the lower deck. It is a full beam stateroom with a large seven foot (7′) dresser on the starboard side and a large settee on the port side. The space is open and elegant. The King headboard wall is covered in paneling of Caprice mother of pearl shells. On top of the honey colored pearl shell wall is a sequence of photographs of the sea; which continues the enjoyment of the sea theme as seen through out the boat. The colors in this stateroom are deep honey, grayed lavender and off white/oyster. There is just enough wall upholstery to keep the room dramatic and show off the magnificent Cherry millwork. There are (2) full baths that share a shower midship. This master bath shows off the intricate borders and inlays of the Emperadora Dark Marble and Pearloto Marble stone. The semi recessed round sinks with architect designed faucets, mirror each other from Port to Starboard.

Guest Suites Area
Down the hall are two (2) nearly identical convertible staterooms. Each stateroom can accommodate three guests with either twins and pullman berth or queen bed formed by sliding the twins together. The bedspreads are oyster linen, accented with amethyst basket weave textured pillows edgee of small plum beaded trim that gives the appearance of little pieces of coral pulled from the ocean. Both convertible staterooms have private baths/ensuite heads with gorgeous Ivory Marble floors and Emperador Light Marble vanities with contemporary semi recessed vessel sinks.

Flybridge
The Flybridge has everything! Both the huge horseshoe seating area on the port side and the bar with its teak edged Blue Pearl Granite top and seating for four(4) on the starboard side give plenty of open space to gather during the day or the evening to enjoy your time on the water.

The crew quarters allow for up to (6) crew members, if needed.

As elegant as her names suggests, DONNA MARIE is a classically styled Hargrave yacht. Her exterior lines are both graceful and sturdy and her raised pilothouse profile offer three levels to showcase her spacious interiors. From the moment you step aboard this yacht, it is abundantly clear that she is a floating private resort. Her airy salon with its cherry woodwork, state-of-the-art entertainment system and soft neutral tones set the stage for magical times with family. Just forward of the salon is the formal marble-clad dining table with seating for six. Adjacent to the dining area is the pantry and sizeable galley. The marble ensuite bath with his and her areas is joined by an enormous shower. The VIP and guest stateroom are equally luxurious with fine fabrics and marble ensuites. There is a separate crew quarters for four that is equally comfortable.

The raised pilothouse area with dual Stidd chairs has an elegant helm station with easy-to-see electronics and room for guests to join the captain and enjoy the panoramic views as the yacht smoothly moves to its next exotic location. Casual sophistication is the theme as friends and family enjoy the additional plush seating with high-low tables and grill. The tender and davit are to the rear of the entertainment space. The aft deck with its hardtop has a large high-low dining table and bar area with refrigerator. Wide steps lead to the lazarette which includes a workbench with tool area for the hands-on owner or captain.

DONNA MARIE is the culmination of the many dreams her knowledgeable owner had which only Hargrave could fulfill.

Design & Build

With every signed contract, the team at Hargrave Custom Yachts works closely with the new owners to design and construct the yacht of their dreams. A superior example of these efforts is found in “Katina”, which was recently delivered in 2005. This raised pilothouse model reaches new heights in terms of style and creativity.

This eye-catching yacht has an excellent balance of both indoor and outdoor space. The large fly bridge is ideal for entertainment and comes equipped with such amenities as a luxurious American Whirlpool spa and custom wet bar. The interior has a casual and comfortable ambience with warm earth tones and a variety of textures. Although the interior space is quite relaxed, the tailored details such as a sunken bar with Emperadora dark and light marble accommodate formal entertainment and make this yacht ideal for charter.

An impressive 4-stateroom layout with the VIP forward from the galley makes each guest aboard “Katina” feel special. Each stateroom features an en suite head, large hanging closets and highly advanced entertainment packages. In fact, this yacht is equipped with a state-of-the-art Crestron Entertainment and Electronics system, which is one of the most sophisticated systems available on the market today. The flexibility in planning each custom yacht allows the owners to choose the amenities that are right for them. The master stateroom is also a notable element of this yacht with elegant fabrics, two walk in closets, and his and her heads with a central standing shower and whirlpool tub. “Katina” exemplifies the endless possibilities available when building a Hargrave Custom Yacht.

Owner Testimonial

Jason Taylor, owner of the 99’ Raised Pilothouse KATINA
“When I first decided to build a larger yacht, I put together my wish list and thoroughly investigated nearly every major yacht builder. As my search progressed I found that the road always led me back to Hargrave. Mike Joyce and Hargrave Yachts bring honesty, integrity and reliability to the table when they are building first class boats, and I couldn’t be happier with my M/Y KATINA.”
