From the moment you step aboard this yacht, it is abundantly clear that she is a floating private resort. Her airy salon with its cherry woodwork, state-of-the-art entertainment system and soft neutral tones set the stage for magical times with family. Just forward of the salon is the formal marble-clad dining table with seating for six. Adjacent to the dining area is the pantry and sizeable galley. Top-of-the-line appliances and a granite-topped prep area will impress a professional chef, yet this room also welcomes a family who cooks together.

The owner and guest staterooms for six are works of art. The spacious master stateroom features an opulent, oversized bed facing an impressive home theater. The compact vanity can also function as a handy desk for a laptop computer and the fine joinery conceals plenty of storage. The marble ensuite bath with his and her areas is joined by an enormous shower. The VIP and guest stateroom are equally luxurious with fine fabrics and marble ensuites. There is a separate crew quarters for four that is equally comfortable.

The raised pilothouse area with dual Stidd chairs has an elegant helm station with easy-to-see electronics and room for guests to join the captain and enjoy the panoramic views as the yacht smoothly moves to its next exotic location. The pilothouse area leads to the expansive flybridge with triple Stidd seats at the helm, and a wet bar topped with marble and seating for four. Casual sophistication is the theme as friends and family enjoy the additional plush seating with high-low tables and grill. The tender and davit are to the rear of the entertainment space. The aft deck with its hardtop has a large high-low dining table and bar area with refrigerator. Wide steps lead to the lazarette which includes a workbench with tool area for the hands-on owner or captain.

Truly a reflection of the classic styling of J.B. Hargrave, “Dani” delivers graceful lines, a sturdy build, and superlative custom interiors. This raised pilothouse model has three cleanly proportioned levels that are both visually appealing and highly usable. The fly bridge with its custom hardtop and endless entertainment features speaks to the family oriented design of this vessel. The owners worked closely with the Hargrave design office to produce a yacht that met all their needs.

The large and elegant salon is divided in a traditional furniture arrangement with a separate sitting and formal dining area. American flat cut gloss cherry wood creates a gorgeous palette to which the owners and interior designer, Shelley DiCondina of Yacht Interiors by Shelley, added luscious fabrics, warm colors, and unusual textures. The spacious layout continues forward with the galley featuring superlative wood joinery, as every cabinet face is detailed with a continuous and seemingly uninterrupted Maitore inlay. Another notable feature is a Hargrave signature- the country kitchen arrangement with a u-shaped dinette. This galley appeals to both a professional chef as well as a family sharing in the joy of cooking together.

Below deck, the owner and guest accommodations are unrivaled with a three-stateroom layout and a separate crew’s quarters forward with two staterooms and a private lounge area. The master stateroom is truly a work of art with a centrally located, sumptuous canopy bed comprised of cherry with maitore accents, and set on a pedestal. Thoughtful customization throughout the entire yacht is demonstrated in such details as the use of fine granite and marble, amazing woodwork and crown molding, arched doorways, and European fixtures. As the biggest raised pilothouse built to date by Hargrave, SEA LEGEND is designed to explore remote exotic locations in absolute comfort. This four stateroom yacht has high-gloss cherry woodwork highlighted by gloss camphor burl handcrafted by Hargrave’s woodworkers. Outstanding details such as crown moldings and footed, Georgian-style cabinets with fluted clipped corners are evidence of their artistry. As you enter the spacious salon, your eyes are drawn to the subtle colors of the settee and chairs and the texture of the hand-loomed silk/wool carpeting. Just forward of the salon is the serene dining area with its hand-blown chandelier, round table and seating for 6. A short hallway forward leads to the welcoming country kitchen with its Merrygold granite counter tops, gloss cherry cabinetry and generous dinette. Top-of-the-line appliances such as SubZero and Fisher & Paykel make this area a joy for the professional chef.

Below deck are four sumptuous staterooms including a full-beam master with high-gloss cherry woodwork trimmed in gloss camphor burl, lush fabrics, and a his and her ensuite bathroom with fluted sink bowls and Emperadora dark and light marble inlays in the walk-through shower. The VIP is equally spacious with nearly the full beam of the yacht for both the stateroom and ensuite bathroom. The two guest staterooms are equally unique with the port stateroom featuring twin berths and ensuite head while the starboard stateroom has a single berth and desk area on the opposite wall for onboard studies. The crew quarters forward features a captain’s cabin equal in size to a VIP stateroom with its own ensuite head. Four additional crew berths and head are also found in this area. All are finished to the same high standard as the rest of the boat with high-gloss cherry cabinetry trimmed in camphor burl and teak-and-holly flooring. The engineer’s cabin is aft near the engine room with its own ensuite head.

As you enter the raised pilothouse for SEA LEGEND, the sheer size of it will surprise you. The elegant helm and spacious seating available for guests allows one to watch the captain guide her to various ports of call. The large flybridge is covered by a hard top with automatically retractable soft top center. It is another area of pleasant surprises including the custom wet bar with Emperadora marble, seating for a crowd and a spa tub that has been recessed into the non-skid deck so that it doesn’t impinge the flow of the flybridge’s sleek lines.

The aft deck with its custom teak table and seating, has stairs leading to the cockpit which is well-suited for fishing or diving with a fishwell and dive locker complete with scuba tank storage and dive compressor.

SEA LEGEND’s charm and style has shown that an owner’s dream coupled with Hargrave’s reputation for custom design and superior construction, best exemplifies the legacy of Hargrave yachts.

Forward, a round dining table has seating for six and is ideal for formal dining or even a casual breakfast. Cherry wood with a custom cherry hardwood edge and crown molding sets the tone for this elegant vessel. The gourmet style galley features stainless steel appliances and black marble surfaces, and is yet another great spot for dining with a u-shaped banquette.

Below deck three staterooms including an oversized master, elegant VIP stateroom and versatile twin bed stateroom continue the theme of sophistication with only the finest fabrics and most luxurious accommodations.
