Brief Overview

MaryClare is a Capri Sky Lounge Hargrave model with a curvaceous European profile and a four stateroom plus crew layout. The high volume interior is a signature design feature of this Hargrave. Entering MaryClare from the aft deck you will be struck by how tranquil and calm the interior feels, while a further investigation helps you begin to appreciate how comfortable she is too. Her hand rubbed Cherry wood paneling with a satin finish helps to accentuate the quality of this Hargrave and her luxury interior is accentuated by lace wood inlays and high gloss counter tops with attractive bull nosing throughout. The spacious galley is forward of the main salon and makes good use of natural stone and high end European fixtures. The A rated crew quarters are forward of the galley in a two stateroom two head layout. Forward in the main salon you will find a spiral staircase that provides access up to the sky lounge as well as down to the owner and guest staterooms, which are completely separate from the crew area.

Layout

Accommodations

MaryClare is designed to sleep up to 8 guests in four large staterooms, with crew quarters for three or four if there is a husband and wife team. A husband and wife team can be accommodated in the captain’s quarters with a double bed. The crew area is forward and separate from the owner/guest sleeping areas. Each guest stateroom has an en suite head and fine interior appointments.

Aft deck

MaryClare’s aft deck is simple and spacious; at the center, a large high-gloss table with enough seating for eight. Accompanying the table is a built-in bench seat and 4 teak chairs. The bench and each of these chairs is fitted with a tan and white vertical striped cushion for added comfort and style. The aft deck is fairly simple otherwise and includes subdued features such as teak flooring and a portside fiberglass compartment that houses an ice maker an storage areas.

Salon

Entering the salon, you immediately feel the tranquility of the space. The wood is a nut color Cherry with a satin finish, accentuated by lace wood cabinet tops and cross-grained cabinet faces that create a repetitious interest to the veneer. In the main salon, as well as throughout the rest of the yacht, all of the visible hardware is a brushed satin nickel. To port are custom-made Hamilton House Lane Home Excursions sofas, which are extremely comfortable and elegant with a clean cream colored fabric. This space was designed with very neutral colors. The only pattern on the main deck is a tropical inspired foliage fabric in colors of sage, curry and celery that covers the aft lounge chair, ottoman and several carefully placed accent pillows. This design scheme creates clean lines against the gorgeous wood, as well as a calming ambiance. To starboard is a neat row of cabinets offering storage space and a plethora of display counters. Forward, separating the living area from the dining area is a Cherry cabinet concealing a Sony Plasma 32″ EDTV, which operates on an automatic high/low lift. This space also features recessed lights, a plush cream carpet and lovely architectural details and cabinetry.

Dining

The dining area consists of an oval-shaped wood table surrounded by 8 comfortable dining chairs comprised of bamboo style wood with cream cushions and an elegant button detail cascading down the back of each lovely chair. This space also features Cherry wood, as well as white cabinet faces and a wood buffet. Another notable feature is the 6-shelf glass china cabinet that is found to starboard and built into the flow of the spiral staircase that leads up to the sky lounge and down to the owner and guest suites. Colorful, hand-selected artwork and house wares complete the look of this otherwise neutral space.

Galley

The Ubatuba green/grey granite counters and backsplash, as well as the stainless steel appliances, stand out from the solid white lacquer cabinets and ceiling. The stainless steel appliance package includes a Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, GE cook top, GE Oven, Sub-Zero wine cooler, GE Microwave, dishwasher and a double-sided Franke sink. Other appliances include a GE black disposal. Refreshingly spacious and inviting, this galley feels like it belongs in an estate home. Warm teak and holly flooring adds dimension, along with custom woven rattan shades by Hartman & Forbes from Design West. Forward, and set beneath a row of windows, is an elevated dinette. This dining area is comprised of a tan-colored leather and palm tree motif fabric settee, with an adjustable granite topped dining table.. The subtle island inspired design features play off the deep green granite. To starboard and set into the cabinetry for a streamlined look, is a Sharp 20″ LCD TV in silver to match the appliances. This entertainment feature can be enjoyed over a leisurely breakfast, snack, or maybe to catch your favorite food network show for cooking inspiration! Forward and down a small flight of stairs are the crew’s quarters.

Sky Lounge

Situated just above the galley, and accessed via a spiral staircase in the main salon is the sky lounge. This space has a much bolder color scheme, featuring a chocolate colored settee by Moore & Giles leather, accentuated by chenille throw pillows with a contemporary cheetah pattern. The darker earth tone palette works well in this space as there is a plethora of windows and of course, the large forward windshield. Roman style shades dress the windows and create a light controlled environment. A small table, along with a starboard pop-up 42″ Sony Plasma TV completes the sitting area. Forward and to port is a substantial built-in desk for your home-office needs. Also forward, you will find the large helm. Centered in front of the impressive electronics console is a pair of Stidd pilot’s chairs in a maroon color. To the aft of the sky lounge is a large open deck with lounge seating, a hot tub, and tender and waverunner storage.

Foyer

The lower hall is spacious and has a curved console with mirror. The companionway is the entrance for all (4) guest staterooms; (1) Master Stateroom, (2) Twin Guests and a second king size bed in the VIP. The walls in the guest area are padded faux leather upholstery with Cherry stripping in between the panels. All of the light fixtures and plumbing have a brush nickel finish. The cabinetry is also in a satin Cherry with satin Cherry cabinet tops.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom on the lower deck is especially soothing and calm in shades of cream, ivory and gold. Natural finishes such as the Cherry wood abound, and the room is simple and luxurious. The king size bed is found at the center of this room, with an overhead mirror, cherry wood strips and attractive shaded lamps. Features include cedar-lined his and her closets, an in-room hidden safe, Shoji screens over the porthole windows, a small vanity with chair, a 42″ Sony Plasma TV, and an en suite his and her head. The head consists of Perlatolo Suevo marble, a Jacuzzi tub, walkthrough shower, Grohe fixtures and eye-catching granite counters. The master stateroom is a place to unwind and refresh for the adventures of the day ahead.

VIP Stateroom

The VIP suite is truly made for your most valued guests as it has wonderful upgrades and a unique style. A king size bed fitted with a smart gold bedspread accentuated by marine blue pillows, acts as the center piece of this stateroom. A king bed is an unusual feature for a VIP, but even more unusual is the fact that the room is still very spacious and offers substantial storage space with drawers, a built-in curved console cabinet above which is a 20″ Sharp LCD TV, and a full-length cedar-lined hanging closet. You will also find an en suite head with a full shower and high level finishes. Your guests will fall in love with these private and luxurious accommodations.

Guest Stateroom (PORT)

The first of two twin bed guest staterooms is found to port. This suite features twin beds fitted with attractive rust-colored bedspreads with shell motifs. The Cherry wood and cream-colored padded panels work well with the color choice of the fabric. A nightstand with a mirror and lamp just above it, divides the space between the two beds. Other features include Shoji screens with cherry wood strips, a 15″ Sharp LCD TV, a large hanging closet and an en suite head with a full shower and granite surfaces.

Guest Stateroom (STBD)

The second of two twin bed guest staterooms is found to starboard. This suite is basically identical to the port stateroom and features twin beds fitted with leaf motif bedspreads with calming colors of green and cream. Again, Cherry wood and cream-colored padded panels accentuate the fabric choices. The mirror and lamp help illuminate the space and make it appear larger. Much like its sister stateroom, this suite also features a nightstand with storage drawers, Shoji screens with cherry wood strips, a 15″‘ Sharp LCD TV, a large hanging closet and an en suite head with a full shower and granite surfaces. Your overnight guests will be right at home in either of these two finely appointed staterooms.

Crew Quarters

The crew quarters are forward and down a flight of stairs from the galley. Your tour of the area begins in the crew lounge where a substantial banquette and table are positioned in front of storage cabinets and entertainment features such as a 15″ Sharp TV. Next, is the private captain’s stateroom, which appears to be another VIP stateroom with a queen bed and elegant refinements that would be appropriate for a captain or a husband/wife team. This space features plenty of storage, a hanging closet and a private en suite head. Crewmembers have a second stateroom with over/under bunks a hanging closet and their own private head as well. Hargrave yachts are built to accommodate a large and more importantly, happy crew and MaryClare can accommodate 3 or even 4 crewmembers with a husband/wife team.

Part of our ever-growing Capri series, “Carissima” has elegant European inspired lines, with the fundamentals of a truly custom Hargrave yacht. Built for an owner who has previously purchased two other yachts from the Hargrave line, she combines the value and style of a mega yacht with a vessel that focuses on family. Having traveled to the Bahamas, Panama Canal, Vancouver and even Australia and New Zealand, “Carissima” is made for a true sailor.

Accommodating eight in four staterooms, this vessel is ideal for charters. An inviting interior is designed specifically to create cozy spaces where family and friends can mingle together and reflect on the day’s adventures. Elements of art and architecture abound throughout. One of the custom touches that the owner especially enjoys is the ornamental grain pattern found on selective portions of the boat’s woodwork, covered with a high-gloss finish.

Seating and dining areas are made distinct on the main deck with a pop-up TV doubling as a room divider. Aside from aesthetics, “Carissima” is also technologically advanced with an integrated computer system, which allows information to be displayed on every monitor and TV. A country kitchen arrangement further compartmentalizes the boat with another individual gathering spot. Privacy and a sense of breathing space is the perfect combination aboard this amazing yacht. The owner of this yacht has often stressed just how much he wants to give Hargrave a world-renowned name, but what he may not realize is that by helping to design this impressive yacht, he already has.

Modeled after the Hargrave Capri series, “Sassy” is as unique as they come. Every Capri model takes on smooth lines and contemporary styling to produce a more European look. This boat in particular not only has all of the impressive design features common to the Hargrave line; she also has more than a few personal touches. Made for a family of thirteen, their personalities exude from every space on this boat. Vibrant and bold colors pop from the walls and furniture, and custom touches such as accommodations to sleep 16 people are found throughout. The master stateroom even features a walk-in closet that has been converted into bunk beds for the children.

An impressive layout begins from the aft deck with a custom-built bench for casual dining. From here you enter a full-beam salon with a palette consisting of rich lacquered cherry wood strips highlighting white Majilite upholstery, accentuated with a beige carpet with unusual geometric inlays and boldly colored furniture in red, yellow and blue. This room demonstrates just how far we will go to accommodate our owner’s wishes. Other notable features include an amazing fiber-optics ceiling with shooting stars in the dimly lit sky lounge.

Four staterooms, each with an en suite head, and a separate comfortable crew’s quarters make this boat a great candidate for charter, while the expansive salon and large galley make for a family friendly vessel. This is one of the finest examples of a truly custom boat. There is no detail left untouched aboard this stunning yacht. Building a new Hargrave Custom Yacht involves taking your vision and turning it into something tangible. Everything from layout to interiors is part of the process, and as demonstrated with “Sassy”, it is something we take great pride in.

Design & Build

SUGAR TOO serves as an example of what happens when owner and builder exercise excellent communication. The amazing end result is a personalized, highly functional and beautiful vessel that the owner and builder are both proud of. Stepping aboard this luxury yacht, you are able to fully appreciate this collaboration and to see the beauty of the owners’ vision. The main salon is warm and rich and is centered on a cozy living room space. Custom designed columns create an attractive division between the salon and dining spaces, as well as a structure for which a large 42” Pop-up plasma TV is found. The sofas and cocktail tables are built around this entertainment spot and offer a great place for you and your guests to socialize and relax.

An aft bar, detailed woods, sophisticated and artistic lighting, as well as special custom touches define the main deck. The color accents found throughout, including on all the fabrics and decorative pillows are unusual and eye-catching, but well balanced against the exotic high-gloss woods. Additional welcoming spaces include the outstanding sky lounge. Here, pocket doors are available to separate the helm and entertainment space, which offer the complete darkness necessary for safe night navigation. This design also allows for privacy between captain and guests.

Although this model is a sky lounge, the upper aft deck has so much to offer in a compact space, including a colorful umbrella and bench seating, a wet bar with several bar stools, a large grill and plenty of sunshine! When seeking a place to rest, owner and guests feel right at home in 3 private staterooms, each with an en suite luxury head. The master also has an attached office suite with a pullout couch for additional overnight guests.

While the focus of this yacht has been the unbelievable interior appointments, SUGAR TOO is also a marvel on the water. This yacht has an exceptionally quiet ride, even at top speeds of 21 Knots and has an incredible equipment list with only the best that technology has to offer. The owners of SUGAR use this yacht as a second home and are more than pleased with the end result that came from months of extensive planning.

Visually, this yacht is stunning. Every detail from Alabaster fixtures and arched doorways, to the use of fine woods and high-end fabrics highlights the premium quality and novelty of this must see yacht.

The main salon is divided into inviting seating arrangements, yet appeals to the eye with a continuous view forward toward the dining room bulkhead. Half walls that are framed by impressive columns act as a partition, creating a more formal dining area. Forward, the galley, or what the owner refers to as the soul of the yacht, is a wonderful gathering spot. The lower level offers yet another living space where every detail down to the silk bedspreads, was considered. Lighter cherry wood was integrated on the lower level to help maintain a sense of airy openness. Smart space planning makes each stateroom highly livable and comfortable enough for extended travel.

Virtually every nook and cranny in the boat has been carefully examined and utilized to yield maximum storage without detracting from the formal and elegant sensibility of the interior spaces. This well thought out and executed yacht is one that has been tailored to the lifestyle of a true yachtsman.

Accommodations

This distinctive, beautiful yacht features 4 owner and guest staterooms including one guest stateroom that converts to an owner’s gym and crew quarters aft. Her inviting, open salon and dining area in gloss cherry wood leads to a warm, welcoming country kitchen. A spacious skylounge and gracious aft deck offer plenty of room to entertain.

Vessel Walkthrough

MY LADY M is a Capri Skylounge Hargrave model with a curvaceous and sexy profile with lots of interior volume; a rare combination to find in a boat this size. Entering MY LADY M from the aft deck you will be struck by how tranquil this yacht feels, and with further investigation you understand how comfortable she is too. As you enter the salon and dining area, high gloss cherry wood accentuated by gloss camphor burl countertops and an onyx bar highlight a subtle, elegant atmosphere. The spacious galley is forward of the salon and dining areas and is a chef’s dream. Here you will find a spiral staircase that leads up to the sky lounge with a day head tucked in underneath.

As you move forward through the galley and down the stairs, you enter the spacious lower foyer which leads to the owner and guest staterooms. Below deck you will find a large aft master suite with his and her heads and walk-in closets as well as access to the owner’s gym which converts back to a guest stateroom as needed., Forward of the Master is another twin guest stateroom and all the way forward is the VIP suite. Each guest stateroom also has a private head and luxurious amenities. The crew quarters are accessed via the transom deck and down a short flight of stairs. This arrangement is ideal for privacy.

Aft deck

MY LADY M’s aft deck is simple and spacious; at the center, a large high-gloss table with enough seating for eight. Accompanying the table is a built-in bench seat and 5 teak chairs. Each of these chairs is fitted with a soft green and blue striped cushion for added comfort and style while the bench has both solid and striped fabrics in these colors. The aft deck is fairly simple otherwise and includes subdued features such as teak flooring and a portside fiberglass compartment that houses an refrigerator/ice maker, stepdown sink with adjustable faucet, electric water hose reel under sink, and storage areas.

Salon/Dining

The full width of the beam is utilized in the gorgeous main salon, which is filled with clean lines, sophisticated neutral colors and outstanding entertainment options. Natural light seeps in through large windows fitted sheers and curtains in a soft cream color. To starboard a custom made full service 2-tier Honey Amber Onyx bar with sink, icemaker and refrigerator. This nook is complimented to port by an perfectly proportioned custom L-shaped sofa comprised of soft beige fabric and several throw pillows. This space is complete with a centered glass-top coffee table. Forward of this entertainment space is a more formal dining area, which is distinguished by a centrally located large cherry wood table of a fine high-gloss finish, which is surrounded by 6 cream-colored dining chairs and two additional chairs in a cozy nook just to starboard. The 42″ LCD TV on a hydraulic lift is recessed in this area as well. China and other dining items are stored in china cabinets both to port and starboard. Access to the galley is forward from the dining room, while owner and guest accommodation are reached via a downward staircase to the forward of the galley.

Galley

From the dining room you are beckoned forward past the the finely appointed day head, spiral staircase leading to the skylounge into the luminous galley – both in design and function. A forward seating area creates a social space where up to five guests can relax over breakfast, watch the master chef at work, or even steal a midnight snack from the black GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer. The finest equipment available is found in this space, including four cherry-paneled Sub-zero Refrigerator and combo refrigerator/freezer drawers, black GE Profile Cook top w/GE Profile Oven, a GE Profile black Microwave, Fisher Paykel cherry paneled Dishwasher, GE Disposal, wine cooler and more. Other features include granite counters over cherry cabinets, under-cabinet lights and a large flat screen TV. Whether spending casual time with family and friends or hosting a formal event, this galley is versatile and well-equipped to suit any occasion. Forward and to starboard you will find a staircase that leads to all staterooms.

Skylounge

Situated just above the galley, and accessed via a spiral staircase in the main salon is the sky lounge. This space has a similar color scheme, featuring a settee , accentuated by throw pillows. There is a plethora of windows and of course, the large forward windshield. Custom sheers and drapery panels dress the windows and create a light controlled environment. A small table, along with a starboard pop-up 42″ LCD TV and comfortable chaise completes the sitting area. Forward and to port is a cozy wetbar with U-line refrigerator/freezer and 3 leather covered stools for your entertainment needs. Also forward, you will find the large helm. Centered in front of the impressive electronics console is a helm chair in a deep green/black color. To the aft of the sky lounge is a large open deck with three separate glass top grills to port (with individual controls) and sink, two chaise lounges, umbrella and 15′ Seadoo jet tender.

Master Stateroom

Architectural design details such as the high gloss cherry wood and upholstered panels are mirrored throughout the space. Soothing drapes coordinate with the centrally located king size bed. The gorgeous bed is framed with a cherry and upholstered silk headboard that extends to the ceiling. Soothing creamy beige colors abound, including on the bed linens and plush carpeting. Gloss cherry wood accentuate the surplus of display and storage cabinetry throughout. You will enjoy the use of the walk-in closets on the port and starboard side, as well as other creature comforts such as a Sharp 37″ LCD TV mounted on the forward bulkhead, and other entertainment options like a Sonance Symphony sound system and a Marantz home theater system. This space is if nothing else, a retreat from everyday life. To starboard is the refrigerator/icemaker, second walk-in closet with dresser and entrance to the owner’s gym/convertible guest stateroom with folding treadmill and television. Another fine appointment of the master suite is the his-and-her head with entrances both to port and starboard and just beyond the king bed. Perlato Suevo marble encapsulates the space and creates an element of pure luxury. A walkthrough shower includes custom designed marble topped shelves and a seamless glass enclosure. Double sinks, heads, counters, and storage offer enough space for you and your spouse to prepare for the day at ease. The use of cherry wood is continued in this space and works nicely with the rich marble tone. Your experience in this space is sure to elicit feelings of relaxation, comfort and sumptuousness.

Owner’s Gym/Guest Stateroom 1

This unique space is designed for an owner with a desire for a healthy lifestyle. Access is granted to both the owner’s stateroom as well as along the corridor for privacy when used as a guest stateroom. Three pullman berths tuck away to allow the folding treadmill and assorted exercise equipment full utilization of the space. A 20″ slimline TV and full ensuite head complete this adaptable space.

Guest Stateroom 2

The portside twin bed stateroom is bright, airy and extremely livable. Twin beds are separated by a single nightstand, which can be removed in order for the beds to slide together and transform into a double berth. Rich greens and aqua tones stand out against the cherry wood, and lighter fabric bedspreads. A large mirrored backdrop reflects light and elongates the visual space. Hanging closets and under-bed drawers conceal personal effects, and a Sharp 20″ LCD TV provides entertainment. The twin stateroom also offers a private en suite head with full shower, marble counters and other luxury appointments.

VIP Stateroom

Located off the main foyer and forward is the VIP Stateroom. This suite is truly outstanding and rivals many master suites. Pale aqua, coral and beige make up the color scheme of the space. Ultimate privacy can be found in this VIP, which includes a large queen bed. Gloss cherry wood on the main walls draws the eye outward, as does the large wall mirror. Plenty of storage is found in clever drawers and cabinets, as well as a hanging closet to starboard. A Sharp 26″ LCD TV and an en suite head offer additional amenities. The head is complete with full shower, and Perlato Suevo marble with Tea Rose marble accents highlight this luxurious space.

Crew Quarters

The crew quarters are located aft and accessed from the swim platform. A captain’s stateroom with a double berth accommodate two crewmembers. There is a private head and a good amount of storage. This is the ideal location for the crew as it offers some separation between crew and the owners so everyone has some privacy and downtime. The crew also has direct access to the engine room forward of their sleeping quarters.
