Our primary objective for each boat show is to ensure that every single visitor to the Hargrave display has a great experience and enjoys the time they spend with us. The feedback we were getting during the show from all directions indicated this might have been our best boat show ever based on the four key ingredients I mention at our closing night “Cast & Crew” party.

1. Our Best Team

I had so many people tell me that they thought this was our best group of people manning our display. The team at the front desk that is so critical to handling visitors who are stressed out by the sheer size of the show did an outstanding job. On the boats themselves – our gate keepers, tour guides, captains, crew, and our brokers answered every question and made the extra effort to make each potential buyer feel welcome and appreciated.

2.Our Best Boats

When I went through each boat I was impressed that from the newest to the oldest, every yacht we had on display was show ready. The million dollar refit on the 109’ Sea Star was impressive, and every single boat showed well. That takes a lot of work to present yachts in that condition.

3.The Best Owners

The owners of the 84’ Hargrave MOBILLITY just created an all new 104’ Jack Sarin designed Hargrave yacht and they are a prime example of how fortunate we are to have such strong support from our owners. That constant support and their steady reorders is the reason why our company came through the industry downturn in one piece while so many famous competitors were either sold off or just shut down because of a lack of orders. Hopefully you had a chance to meet our owners at the show and experienced why we say we are blessed to have them in our lives.

4.The Best Weather

You need great boats and great people for sure, but without good weather it is all for naught. I thought this was some of the best weather I can remember at the Fort Lauderdale Show. The ambiance created by the beautiful weather helps our prospective buyers to get a sense of what it would be like if they purchase one of our boats.

Thanks to everyone for making it “Fun” not only for our visitors but for each of us as well.
