Design and Build
Designer’s Overview
Interior Design Team:
Owner, Shelley DiCondina and Erica Hinkle of Yacht Interiors by Shelley
The interior of this vessel is a refreshing concept of cutting edge design combining sleek lines and curve linear elements. With a 21’ beam, the space is inviting, yet intimate. The overall expression of comfort and tranquility unifies stylish décor both classic and chic blending earth tones creatively displaying bold textures and unique patterns throughout.
Main Salon:
Immediately upon entering the Salon, the intricate millwork of the overhead ceiling prominently classifies this vessel and solidifies the essence of prestige. The extremities of minimal concepts express classic appeal and excellence within the design. Teak Hardwood flooring is used to mimic the ceiling detail separating areas of transition through the salon.
In the Starboard Aft Corner, a walk-up bar was designed as a decorative focal point using mirror inside the upper cabinetry and curved cabinet doors with clear glass inserts. The upper cabinets can be used to showcase formal stemware or decorative accessories. The cabinets below have plenty of accessible storage space for liquor rack storage and bar essentials. Perlato Suevo marble countertops soften the appearance of the interior space embracing the Gloss Walnut & Gloss Elm Burl cabinetry.
The sofa and forward club chairs are upholstered in a fabric blend that is delicate to touch and accented with fluffy throw pillows that are selected as dramatic attributes to impact the design of the interior space. All furniture was envisioned with the utmost comfort in mind. The Aft Chair is an exceptionally special piece of furniture; the chair back was carefully carved to perfection.
There is storage consoles port & starboard, accompanied by floor to ceiling display cabinets with frosted glass cabinet doors. On the Forward wall, we have applied panels of clear beveled mirror enhancing the feeling of ambiance In the Dining Salon. Below a console with Perlato Suevo marble countertops and inside the cabinets adjustable shelving and (2) wine coolers to service the Main Salon.
The Dining table comfortably seats 8. It’s one of a kind base, supports the Gloss Walnut table top with cross shaped legs with intricate detailing constructed with decorative end caps in a specialty wood “Ebony”.
Galley:
Just off the Main Salon, the Galley serves as a private dinette area that accommodates seating for (8). The dinette top has a drop leaf table top that bolts in place and secures its position. This is a special design feature that allows for easier maneuvering when entering or exiting the settee. The openness of this Galley layout creates the feeling of endless counter space for the chef to fully utilize the working environment while preparing a mouth-watering masterpiece.
The large island was specially designed with a combination of pull out drawers and cabinet doors with accessible shelves. The granite selection is a unique stone called Aurora. The stones base color really accentuates the bold dark graining of the natural stone which has a shimmer of bronze and silver glitz. It truly is an exquisite selection for such a soothing color palette. All of the appliances are Stainless Steel, and full size. The aft wall of the galley has a 26” Flat Screen TV recessed into the wall with Sub Zero refrigeration vegetable drawers below. Also, accessible from the starboard hallway is a spacious food storage pantry.
Dayhead:
In the Dayhead we are embracing color with a fresh approach. Envisioned to compliment the Main Salon décor a cool sea green hue reminiscent of the clearest Caribbean water is used as a decorative border inlaid into the Emperadora Dark marble Floor and backsplash with glass mosaic tiles. The curved linear Gloss Walnut cabinetry is topped with Emperadora Dark marble counter tops and a Kraus glass vessel style sink with a wall mounted Polished Chrome faucet.
Aft Deck:
The Aft Deck is yet another fabulous space for entertaining. The large curved style settee and dining table serve as an informal setting for the owners and their guest to enjoy family style. The port side cabinet is equipped with a Uline Refrigerator and cabinets for storage space. Below the settee cushions are large storage compartments and there is a sink camouflaged in the Port wing cabinet.
Flybridge:
The layout for this flybridge was designed for the owners and their guests to take pleasure in the fabulous amenities that this vessel has to offer. Combining casual and natural tones with a refreshing cool blue stripe, reminiscent of the ocean.
The natural flow of overall space mimics a wave with (2) large curved style settees that comfortably seat (12) and (3) Gloss Teak cocktail tables that have adjustable High/ Low lifts perfect for serving cocktails and hor ‘derves or casual dining. There is a full service bar forward and an additional bar top aft of the 60” Spa Tub with (3) barstools.
The Helm Station is equipped with (2) Stidd Chairs and a Settee. The aft grilling station has a built in electric grill top and a Fire Magic drop-in style grill with additional storage space for propane tanks below, yet there is still plenty of space for the toys.
Lower Foyer:
Leading from the Port Hallway to the lower deck with curved style steps to the Lower Foyer, a Gloss Walnut chair rail surrounds the perimeter of the space enhancing the wood working details that are seen throughout the lower deck. The walls are upholstered with textured Elegance Legend Cream wall upholstery panels to visually create a grander illusion of space. The feature focal point of the Lower Foyer is the curved style console with deep accessible storage below. The console counter top is Perlato Suevo marble and has a clear beveled mirror applied to the wall above. Included in the Foyer, there is also a separate laundry closet that stores a stackable washer/dryer unit and a hidden storage unit below the stairs.
Master Stateroom:
The interior concept for the Master Stateroom on this vessel was designed with a modern approach implementing chic transitional décor. Warm earth tones of beige, oyster, and bold accents of dark chocolate really makes this soothing interior pop.
This large and spacious owner’s suite has a King sized bed positioned in the center of the full beam with an upholstered headboard. The cabinetry is detailed with clean edges and consistent in design throughout the vessel. There is an abundance of storage space within this suite, his and her full sized dressers, night tables, spacious walk-in closets and entertainment system with a 32” HDTV with storage space below.
Master Head:
The ensuite bath is divided between his/her quarters sharing a common shower with embellished inlays of Perlato Suevo and Emperador Light marble. The functionality of the curved cabinetry enhances overall aura and structural design. The floor to ceiling linen closets can store all bath products, towels and accessories. His/her vanities were designed with a combination of pull out drawers and cabinet door storage to maximize usable space. The Perlato Suevo marble vanity countertops and biscuit Demilav vessel style sinks were selected to contrast the refreshing richness of the Gloss Walnut and Elm Burl cabinetry.
Port Stateroom:
The Port Guest Stateroom embraces classic earth tones and soothing neutrals to blend with the overall color palate of this vessel. This stateroom is set up as a comfortable Queen sized bed that includes storage drawers below. The forward wall was designed as a multiple functioning closet, completely equipped with a combination of pull out drawers, adjustable shelving, and hanging rods for upright storage.
Starboard Stateroom:
Continuing with the décor of warm accents and earth tones, this guest stateroom room has (2) Twin size beds that convert to a Queen Size bed maximizing floor space with storage drawers below. To visually create the illusion of enhanced space, beveled mirrors were applied on the forward wall. Every inch of space on this vessel was put to functional usable space. The outboard cabinetry is completely accessible and a great use of storage space.
Guest Heads:
In the Port and Starboard heads, we have incorporated curve linear cabinetry to enhance the design aesthetics. Perlato Suevo marble countertops with biscuit colored vessel style sinks to contrast and complement the Teak wood flooring and Gloss Walnut cabinetry. Another useful design feature is the wall mounted towel bins which is an excellent use of space for bath essentials and accessories for display.
VIP Stateroom:
The VIP stateroom is privately accessed forward of the Galley. Designed just as elegant as the master, secluded with its own characteristics and unique design features. We have introduced a softer color palette using Oyster and Beige to really accentuate this interior. The focal point of this guest stateroom is the upholstered headboard, appliquéd with overlapping Arcs of silver metallic nail heads. The King size bed is surrounded by multiple storage closets and an entertainment unit with a built-in 26”HD/TV.
VIP Head:
In the VIP head, the layout for this space is more than generous accommodating his/her vessel style sinks combining elements of a curved linear vanity with cabinetry above. Emperadora Light and Perlato Suevo Marble stone selections integrate a monochromatic color scheme to compliment the interior.
Crew Quarters:
The crew quarters for this vessel is located aft of the engine room on the lower deck. Comfortably allowing space for (4 or 5) crew members to live on board permanently. The Captain’s suite has a queen sized bed with storage drawers below, a nightstand, and a closet for hanging storage. Envisioned for either a single or suitable for a team to share, the Captain’s quarters is spacious and has a private head. The Forward & Aft staterooms are similar layouts. Both staterooms have lift up storage below the lower bunk mattress, pull out drawers, and closets with double doors. The Forward stateroom sleeps (2) crew members with double bunks and the Aft stateroom accommodates a single. These staterooms are separated by a joining head that connects both the forward and aft staterooms. Also located in the crew quarters is a combination Refrigerator/Freezer unit and a stackable Washer/Dryer.
